AAC

1. AEC manufactures AAC (Aluminum Stranded Conductors) up to 300 sq mm.

2. These conductors are produced according to BIS IS 398 (Pt.1) and other international standards.

3. AAC is made from electrolytically refined aluminum with a minimum purity of 99.7%.

5. AAC is used in low voltage overhead lines in urban areas. It is also used in high voltage substation conducting.

6. AAC is suitable for very cold areas due to aluminum's low brittleness in MV lines.
